fully - not possible, some say there was some procedure following certain steps by pressing and depressing pedal etc. but I have never confirmed it is actually working.

Does anyone know how to turn off traction control fully?

Define fully? When you're stationary, press & hold the traction control button for like 5s and it'll be off until you turn it back on or turn the car off. It's good enough for me to go drifting like this, so I don't see why you'd need anything more. Like @Linas.P mentions above.. you can do the pedal dance, it's a sequence of pulling the hand brake up and stepping on the foot brake a few times but I've never heard of it working on auto - more so never heard of anybody trying it with an auto car.

Not sure about differences on automatic vs manual, but I remember there was something like holding the TC button for 5s, whilst pressing the brake, then releasing the brake and pressing accelerator or something... (don't quote me on that it was years ago I read about it) and apparently this switches off TC where it basically does not kick in. Because even holding TC button for 5s doesn't "fully" disables it, just allows the car to go a bit more sideways before interrupting.

Trust me, it does not interrupt. Lets you do anything with it off. The only extra thing that the pedal dance does is that it disables the electronic brake force / panic brake function. Your wheels won't lock up.

Turn it off by the button.

Doing this doesn't turn it off fully. If you try to come out of a side road side ways in the wet it still cuts the power which is not good
