That's interesting. It says The Mark Levinson sound system was edited too, to include a spot to plug in a guitar and jam out over the speakers.

I wonder how they did that.  Shame it did not become a standard feature for streaming music from mobile phones.

If the line-in for guitars (etc.) was the only thing needed, the sound must have been good enough for the ears of a skilled musician to put his signature on the car.
