Best holidays I've ever had were in Las Vegas - went 3 times last year but I'm a bit skint now!

Would definitely recommend it if you've never been, a lot of people think it's tacky but it's out of this world!

Loads to see and do especially the Grand Canyon tours, and there are some fantastic bars / clubs.

It was that good I never wanted to come home!

Don't think I've had a bad holiday yet, but to be honest all of mine have been like stag do's or just general boozing sessions - Prague is a good laugh and it's only 40p a beer - can't go wrong at that!

Best holiday: Thailand

Toronto - We love that place! It's probably one of only a few places in the World where I think we could live. Going again for 4 days on 3rd May!

Amsterdam - Is a cool place to go for a long weekend (and not just because of the obvious!).

The Autobahn - I could quite easily spend two weeks on the Autobahn :winky:

yes, get a weekend in every year.

kos for 2 weeks last year was probably my best and worst holiday at the same time!

good cos we werent gonna go anywhere, had a few drinks one afternoon then went and booked it and flew out a few days later. great weather, met some great friends who we still see and had an absolutely great time. great beer and ouzo, great food, great resort, great company and only 1 severe hangover for me!

bad cos the barman in the hotel took a dislike to our little group of friends on the last few days and there was a bit of a hoo haa which resulted in a jeep of 3 large greek men turning up 5 mins before our transfer to kick the ******* out of me and stopped me from boarding the coach. all this after being awake for over 24 hours as we had a night flight and had to be out of our rooms early. couple this with a dose of gasterinteritous (however you spell it!) and you could say i felt rather rough. still we sorted the problem out, just about! then when in line to check in for our flight home there was a power cut at the ariport and then we got diverted via bristol.

certainly a holiday to remember!

Best holiday has to be barbados about 8 years ago lovely island ,friendly people ,three weeks of paradise .Worse holiday was st lucia ,racialy abused most places we went see people with guns for the first time ever ,island was nice but ruined by the locals jumping on you every were you went .my wife was unable to go out on her own due to the local men (animals)approaching her .And to top it all my mother in law fell down a roadside ditch and broke her leg :P at what was meant to be a carnival and turned into a political demo with people smashing bottles on there heads and chanting ,whilst fighting each other .Never again

Fortunately (touch wood), I've not had a bad holiday.

Best holiday? Difficult to pick one really. They've all been good for different reasons.

Best for sports: Skiing in Austria (or tennis in southern Spain)

Best for lazing on the beach and drunken antics: Majorca

Best for a cultural shock: Tokyo

I'm going to Thailand in two weeks. Potentially - it could top the lot (in all categories!). Can't wait! :D

Thats what i was thinking for this years holiday ,out of the lot what one is the best for a quiet holiday away from the lager louts and clubs etc :)

Depends on where you go on the Island, all of the Islands have a 'club 18' resort and then all the nice places, so not

Kavos - Corfu

Lagana - Zante

Faliraki - Rhodes

This year we are going to Skiathos and staying in Skiathos Town, a bit cosmopolitan and chilled out from what I hear..

I used to go out with a girl, that was teaching English in San Palo, you would not get my a*se there.... :shutit:

i can totaly recomend palm springs in california, such a great place, feels realy safe there too, definately compared to los angeles.

Lots of good restaurants, gold courses, can be standing in 40 deg celcis then decide to go ski-ing in 30 mins!

Only bad point is 14hr flight to los angeles then a taxi plane to palm springs. but totaly worth it

Best greek island is definitely Kos without a doubt............Best resort for a bit of peace and quiet..........Kefalos.........if you want to check out for some advice on where to go have a look at Holiday truths Is a really good site.

We are off too Kos for the 4th time in may with her indoors and my dad!! so hopefully will all be ok as its my dads first holiday in 15 years!!

yeah, we saw our fair share of that, but thankfully we had a car, and if you drive up into the mountains away from the resorts, it is a stunning place...

But that said, it was my first holiday in 10 years, and havent had another since, so not much to compare it to really...

i had a free holiday in the canary islands a couple of years back... i spent alot of my time in the cyber cafe running the club because the rest of the holiday was crap

I could not wait to come home!

Vegas last year, went out on my own. First holiday on my own after a divorce. What a place.

Thought it was just for gambling as I work in a casino, how wrong was I. the shows are out of this world, the club scene is really banging :winky:

An if you sit at the bar and talk to the bar staff, those American ladies love the accent :winky:
