Electric windows: closing the car

Recommended Posts

My 350h doesn’t close the windows if I lock the car using the button on the key.

If a passenger forgets a window open, I have to walk to the car, tap the power button, roll the windows, and close it again.

Surely there is another way?

Can the keyfob be programmes to roll up all windows on lock?

I haven’t seen any settings on the infotainment system.

thanks

The keyfob can be coded to globally open/close the windows (and moonroof) on a press and hold of the relevant button on the fob. It's a customisable option and needs to be done by the dealer. It will be detailed in the handbook

A car with climate control and all its clean air filters keeping the scum from your nostrils, what sort of muppet opens a window?

Nothing wrong with the car, get better passengers who don't fiddle!

Or use the switch to disable the passenger operated switches, that's what I do on my RX.

Or don’t really be concerned about people opening windows and certainly don’t insult them or the owner of the car for doing it.  The guy wants to know if it’s possible to do it, not whether they should banish people from opening the opening windows.  Do what you want in your own car.

It’s a dealer only option to program 👍

Wonder if the Dealer charges for a option which it seems is already fitted to the vehicle. I find it strange why the Dealer decides If I wish to be able to close my windows with this option and I also have gone back to my Car to go through all this when I or another have by accident left a window open.
