Received an email from my local Lexus dealer....

Want to take a closer look at the compact luxury of the Lexus RX F SPORT? Why not book a test drive today and discover the impressive features for yourself.

This must be a new model I was not aware of, I do indeed have the current RX F Sport and it's a great car, but compact is not the immediate adjective that comes to mind.

Is this a new model like the ill fated BMW 3-series compact?

They might be using the same PR ad as in the USA where the RX would be classed as Midsize
