I’m conscious of using the delivery date to discuss vehicles already delivered so I’ve started this one so new owners can share photos and opinions.
That glossy panel is a PITA.  It reflects the light from the drivers window and catches the corner of my eye.  It justifies that woodgrain effect on the Takumi.

The HUD repeats the turn by turn instructions of the apple Carplay in the screen.  Of course when I picked the phone up to take picture it disappeared but honest it does.

Yes, it’s nice but a bit too glossy imo.

Well, that's what I'm getting as well, so I'll hope it's just that famous Lancashire sunshine causing the issue 😀

Love that colour.  I would have had that in a heartbeat but the mrs has that green car thing.  Dead classy - love it.

I Had a Rover 214i in British Racing Greeen in the 80’s, A VW Sharan in metallic Green in the 90’s  and a UX in Nori Green / Terrane Kahki in 2020. So when ordering the NX this was a natural choice! 😬

Good idea for a topic @Don C although I must say that I also have the same glossy panel and I don't find it too reflective. I probably will now that you've put that thought in my mind 😉

I wish it did the same for Android Auto.

I love the 360° panoramic camera view on this NX. I've never had such a thing in previous cars and don't know how I've managed to get along without it before. An "extra" bit of spec that is well worth the money in my opinion.

Quite liking the HUD but one thing I wish Lexus had added to it is some kind of indication of when you're driving in EV mode - maybe show the EV icon or turn the colour of the current speed indicator from white to green when in EV?

Another thing I love about my 2022 NX is that I still haven't seen another one on the road 😄

I think the AA interface is nicer looking though.

The HUD will also show the navigation instructions if you use the Lexus Navi rather than google maps in AA

Certainly my favourite colour in the current Lexus range. I wanted an RX with that (Terrain Khaki?) as the exterior and tan leather interior. However, that would have been a six month wait for a factory build, and so Sonic White and Black leather it was!

Anyway, my late Mother always used to say that green cars were ‘unlucky.’ No idea where that came from, but I do remember that the two green cars my Father had were both hideously unreliable. Mind you, that may have been more the fact that the first was a Rover SD1 3500 and the second a Renault 25GTX…😆

Just saw my first one in the wild this morning.

Celestial Blue - couldn't tell if it was a 350 or 450.  In Solihull on the Stratford Road near Tesco if anybody wants to claim it 😁

H there, is your Model a 450H Takumi Plug-in? if not then where's the Mark Levinson speaker it should be next to the inlay

Very nice.

With regards to the colour being unlucky, there was a statistic that showed British Racing Green cars were the most likely to be involved in an accident (though that dubious honour is now awarded to black cars)...but then, you can use statistics to prove anything

I set about installing the front and rear cameras today.  An 129 off amazon.  Iv’e fitted dozens of dashcams but I’ve never struggled like this one.  Normally a car is full of gaps and holes you can thread wires through but this thing is tight as a drum.  I bought a hardwire kit but where I was able to locate some feeds under the dash on the 300h, this 350h is nothing like so I used the accessory socket under the phone charger which I’ll never use anyway.  Getting the wire concealed required quite a few bits removing......

To get at the back door I had to strip out the boot.....

Removing the A pillar trim is normal for Toyota cars.  You have to squeeze the tabs to release it from the A Pillar.....

No, it’s a 350h premium pack plus but that dull woodgrain would be fine.  I’m thinking of wallpapering them 🙄

Oh my gosh!  I can't imagine ever doing that to a new car.

I have a loathing for squeaks and rattles in cars and I'd be terrified I'd introduce one.

No criticism intended, it's your car and you can do what you want with it.  More a recognition of my own very limited DIY skills.

I took delivery of my 450h+ Premium Plus with sunroof today. Graphite with Hazel leather. Have only driven 20 miles so far (all ev) but hugely impressed.

Lexus Edinburgh have been superb as always and the handover was to be savoured! Stuart Wilson deserves special mention - he took time to explain the features of the car and his knowledge of the new NX is encyclopaedic!

Now need to learn these myself!
