The Weather

Just for some variety....the weather here in the Pennines is windy, cloudy and raining!

I did a full valet yesterday including a full wash and vacuum.  

That is typical as I have to go into Leeds and was looking forward to another top down experience!

I really don't want to get her out 😪

You would have seen a pic of my clean and pampered SC if it wasn't for technological glitch. So if anyone can explain to me, (in simple terms) why it refuses to send the pic and puts the message below up, I would be grateful

Another lovely day ending in a drink at the pub up the road with the wife and son.

I had to take a picture of the beautiful scenery.

I think the car in the centre of the photo is the best bit!

I was on my motorbike on holiday in France 3 years ago. We stopped , thankfully, in an ar conditioned  Ibis hotel and the outside temperature at 1630 was 44 Celsius.  That's hot !

Our temperture forcast for today up here in the Pennines is a high of 20°c which is a far cry from 44°c but I am sure there will be the whingers saying its too hot and wish it would rain!

I'm just happy every day I can get my top down!

This forecast is awesome ul here in the Pennines for owning an SC430 and getting lots of top down motoring in!

Not a bad day up in Shotton Bridge in a glamping pod. I loved the drive up here, she performed fantastic!

Hi Guys

Isn't this fabulous weather for SC430 owners, I hope my top works as it has been so long since it was closed 😀 

My twin nephews are over from the US and although they come over every year it has always been Christmas so invariably appalling weather.

They can't believe this climate and have been fully converted into Lexus SC430 fans. I'm sure their dad will be asked to get one on their return!

Last week my nephew, you know, the one holding my 1932 Triumph, was taking his 10 y/o lad to London for the day and was passing the jack Barclay showroom ....  Berkeley Sq is it ? .......... lad nose against the window to see the everyday stock they hold ......... when they're invited in for a chat and a closer inspection, open doors to the newish Bentley convertible and happily invited to be sitting in there, yes, in the car playing with all that stuff when a kind salesman brings the lad out a Bentley cap ........  which he assured ONLY gets given to purchasers of their cars 

Probably got jack Barclay logo on the inside edge too methinks

A dissapointing day for all who take every opportunity to drive top down.

The weather here has turned today with torrential rain coming sideways, hail like snow, thunder and lightning!

I hope some of you guys have had a better day!

south Devon's pretty mixed           beautiful warm and sunny, wet and windy, cloudy and clear blue skies ............. just about everything but no driving winds or storms in this part of the world ............ no stormy seas either .......  great to be here on holiday ......... High Street hills to climb but knowing there's a coffee at the end of the " climb" with a good scone or pasty ................

don't like this new found idea to serve drinks at table in paper cups and cake on paper plates ............ cheapskate on what look like "worthy" and nice places to rest a while ........... I'm going to be far more discerning with my future patronage ............  bloody cheapskate Tea Rooms
