Hi All

I noticed when I connect a computer to the car, my tyres have sensor that sends the pressure to the car, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the car LCD displays. I don't understand why its not included, but I guess Lexus would try to save money where possible.

I was looking online and came across this module in AliExpress, "https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002066449410.html?spm=a2g0s.8937460.0.0.10eb2e0ekiIgaZ"

I have a IS 300 h 2013 model  and one of the criteria stated in the add is "If your car is before 2014, please check whether your device is C7 (as shown in the figure). If it is, please do not buy it." but I'm not sure where this sticker is located, can anyone help?

Also have anyone used this device or something similar? if yes, could you provide any feedbacks?

I would be interested in knowing about this too.. seems bit rubbish the tpms don't actually tell you what each tyre pressure is.

Hello,
I installed that module, it's ok, but my car is from 2017. The module referred to is in the C-pillar. My car has a left-hand drive and the module is in the left C-pillar. For those with the steering wheel on the right, it is in the right C-pillar.

Do you have instructions on how you removed the C-pillar trim? it's over the same area as the hybrid vent.  Any tips and tricks would be appreciated.

@Andrew888 had something similar to one of these before, albeit more expensive.

Any views, Andrew? Similar or identical?

Hi Matt
It looks like you have similar model car as mine, would you happen to have a link of the one you bought? would you know if there is a easier way to find out if this module would work with my car without all these parts in the back? also before opening the car apart could you confirm if its located on the right C-pillar as Andrew mentioned?

Well the first video on the link I sent kind of shows how its done in a fast forwarded video "https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002066449410.html?spm=a2g0s.8937460.0.0.10eb2e0ekiIgaZ". Although Andrew's instruction shows that you need to remove multiple parts where  as in the video its only the last part, so I'm not sure.

It will vary from car to car but on the IS300h there is more work involved especially for RHD as the hybrid fan intake is on same side...  I've removed all the seats in my last IS250 so this shouldn't be any more difficult.

Hmm yeah sorry the model is not displayed when viewing LOC forum on a phone... Ah thats too bad.  I would say if you are really ambitious you could trying removing the C-Pillar trim to see what the tpms module code is.

YEah I might just do that. Is the picture the model you had in your car?

Wow its been a while! I would say its "similar" as some modules block out the TPMS measuring block on the factory ECU if you plug in diagnostic software and it won't be able to read it. The only way to read any genuine TPMS faults is to return it to stock.

Similar, as in the module you had allowed it to still read out TPMS faults with your unit connected?
