It might appeal to a small minority (at a price?) but I thought the way forward was to simplify driving with a push ultimately to fully automated cars, although more will consider that a step too far.

Might not be a bad idea if the performance was improved (like using MT in a video game)  but the article suggests it'll actually be inferior.

I think it's s great idea. Whether they get the patent is another thing but I wish them well.

But would you buy it? Spend money for something less.

If I had the money then yes but after I read test results and reviews as I think it'd make driving an EV more fun.

Would need to be on something fast and sporty, like a next-gen Supra to be justifiable for me.

No way do I want to be stirring fake gears on something like an Aygo.
