Am I Allowed To Drive The Car Without An Sva?

I am insured on it and i was wondering is there anyway i can drive it around for a couple of days before i take it to the sva center for the test? As i believe this will solve half of the emissions problem i am currently having.

However, you could take it for a good run on the way to the SVA place :winky:

If a SVA is like a MOT then i would of thought that IF its booked in for a certain day then you can drive it,if your cars MOT runs out you can drive it for the reasons stated above.(there is a time factor of course) :winky:

New brakepads as it failed the brake depletion test. Some problem with the speedo which has now been sorted. Its just really the emissions. and its doing my head in.
