Hi all,

I've managed to pop the front left air suspension bag on my 2010 rx450h SE-L.

Bought it a few months ago and and can see the top mounts have been replaced. Looks like the lip holding the dust boot has been bumped in fitting, causing it to rub on the outside of the bag. Today it burst.

I've tried all sorts to repair the bag with a patch to no avail. I've now resigned myself to replacing the strut...£750 😞

However, I have no idea how to remove the airline from the top of the strut. Can anyone give me a pointer?

(also open to suggestions to try any other repair methods.)

I've attached some photos of the damage and my failed repair.

Why not take the opportunity to scrap the air system altogether and change over to coils? A full set of four can be bought for not much more than the £750 you're going to spend on one air strut.

If you really want to keep the air, I'll send you a PM that may help you.
