Hi Barry

I had the same problem with mine when I bought it and was told the procedure to reset it.

I believe it was to move the seat base all the way forwards until you hear a beep, then move the seat base all the way backwards, then move the seat back forwards until you hear a beep then recline it all the way backwards.

This should reset it and the memory works.

Good luck mate!

That's the reset procedure.

If it's working then all you need to do is set the seats, mirror and steering wheel to the desired position then hold the memory button in and press the 1 or 2 button to set it. I think the ignition has to be on and the gear selector in P.

Thanks Neil, I had a feeling you would put the finishing touches to that 👍

I seem to remember that using that process only sorted the drivers seat, so I mentioned it when it next went into Lexus Leeds and with no comment or charge, when collected it sprang miraculously back to life!

The dealers do seem to be very good at adding a little extra value. I haven't used them very much but Guildford and Gatwick have been very impressive so far.

I'm forever resetting seats, windows and audio after taking the Battery off.🙂

You do need to get out in it more, it would save you all that Battery charging and resetting! 🤣 🤣

You're right Ant, I do need to use it more, it was previously clocking up 10-12k miles per annum but I have 2 other Lexus that are doing most of the hard yards at the moment. I do start it up frequently, the reasons for disconnecting the negative lead on the Battery are mostly due to my constant messing around with modifications. 😊
