HI folks

looking for your expert advice on an issue i have caused myself while installed a 2 camera system in my gen3 rx450h

while talking off the rubber for the wiring harness i snapped a clip, i was traying my best not to but it did.

i have added photos of where it fits.

replacing this part is not an option really,

so any advice on how to secure to the body to be waterproof. has anyone else had the misfortune of braking the same clip ?

How about a good blob of clear silicone around the white connector - clean area and seat it back into place and let it dry - once its dry put another bead of silicone.

Yes I agree, some good quality silicone sealant.

I must have been lucky when I did my rear dash cam it never broke thank goodness lol

Yep, I'd also go for silicone sealant, although luckily, I didn't have to :whistling:

Sorry, only joking but couldn't resist - there but for the grace of God and all that

Just took a look and as suspected only available as a complete loom section with no listed price!

As above silicone sealant then wedge it in tight until it cures

Thanks for the replies, was a silly mistake , but I suppose a good clean install is worth a loss of s few clips.

Any brands or links to a good silicone that will last the test of time ?
