Impressed b*w 5 series owner

Took my boss to Ripley in derbyshire and back to Woolwich London today.

Was most impressed with the IS200......couldnt believe how quiet it was as three figures.......reckoned it was streets better than a 3 series........mumbled something about the ride quality and standard goodies being better than his 2000 523i

As an ex BMW owner I can understand. Now on second IS. Fell out with BMW when told replacement clutch at 7,500 miles was "nothing unusual". Two factory recalls and numberous other problems. Compared to IS, only wnet to garage for service. That is the big difference once you have one.

Yup, it's funny how many people turn their nose up at my "Toyota Lexus" until they get into it - I get so many comments about the throaty sounding exhaust and the way the revs hold when you press the gas and the mid-range performance finally nails it.
