Electric water pump

Just wondering has anyone ever blanked off the water pump area and changed for an electric pump any help or some sort of direction i could take to make one would be a great help

Well it's more so to just do it I'd like to get the engine only running the alternator

I see, would you also need to increase the alternator output to cope with the (constant?) additional electrical load?

Oh yeah I'd be looking into that aswell but that's a lot handier sorted

whats the reasoning for doing it, its possible

are you also removing the aircon and power steering

Just want to do sumthin different tbh and I have the air con out already cause it never worked for me and I have a electric powersteering pump aswell and I know I'll have to upgrade the alternator but that's easier to do just to make it line up to the other pulleys
