I've just fitted a phone cradle mount to my GS300 MKIII and I have it connected to the plug-in cigar lighter port so as to keep the phone charged. It's okay but I'd like a neater job, so could anyone on here give me step-by-step instructions/diagrams specific to my car on how to connect a permanent USB Port (preferably without dismantling/removing parts too much)? I've not done anything like this before so it might be better if I employ an auto electrician but thought I'd see what's involved DIY first.

There is a dummy port hole just below knee height and above the foot pedal which I could possible use, photo attached.
