It's possibly just an error in the listing.

The MOT history is checkable all the way back to 2013, which suggests it has spent at least the last 8-9 years in the UK.

Then again this would be a great car to have for an ex-pat living in warmer climes somewhere. So maybe it has indeed spent some time abroad (officially exported?) when it was younger before returning to the UK again.

If your gut feeling is to be suspicious, I would go with that. A missing service book would be enough for me to look elsewhere.
