Hi guys, I hope someone can advise on this issue that's doing my head in!

I changed the rear tyres on my GS450h and got all 4 wheels aligned (I know but this is something I always do when ever I change tyres on an axle whether it be 2 or all 4 tyres) the tracking was perfect and after about a month of driving the tracking went out. I have to hold the steering wheel to the right in order to go straight as the car will turn left.

I have not hit any potholes or gone over speedhumps fast or curb my car so this was strange to me.

I went back to the garage and upon checking, the alignment was out! They have attempted 4 times to do the alignment and every time I leave on green on the hunter alignment system but as soon I come back because of the same problem the nearside front tyre toe is out.

there is no play on any of the components from all the checks carried out by the tyre shop and I also went to another garage for a second opinion incase there is play somewhere that could cause this but they also could not find any problems.

The calipers have been checked incase they are binding and all is great. the tyre pressure is also the same so that's also out of the equation.

Can someone advise on the correct way to track a 2007 GS450h or check something that has been missed from what I have mentioned.

Many thanks in advance

I had the same problem mate i take it you took it to kwick fit because there the ones who mostly use the hunter alignment no good they make it worse or in my case wouldn't even touch it because of the rear steering but lexus only charge £80 for alignment take it there solved my issues

I have the same problem, steering wheel not straight and car pulling to left. Dot all 4 wheels alignment and still pulling a bit to the left, steering wheel was still not straight (left) took it out and moved it one slot tonthe right and now its ****** to the right.

Will check again next weel the alignment and probably this will be the end of it

I may have to take it to the dealer to do then. I actually took it to a specialist that is well known in the car scene too as before it was in a tyre shop that tried to get it done!

Thanks for the advice.

Did you manage to sort yours out. I'm losing my cool with this.

Often forgotten, even by dealers, is to reset the steering ECU centre position.

Appreciate I'm tres late, but why not....

Mine on the slight wonk to right after tracking done, this is because I left the wiper stalk one down when they did it and they squared the wheel to the stalks 🤣

Was going to go back and have it sorted but it suits my arm / finger position better so left it as prefer it

You shouldn't have to change steering wheel splines, any adjustment should be at the tracking / wheel end!

My steering wheel was slightly off centre and it was throwing out the parking guidance lines.

I haven't noticed if mine are: I've pressed something on the reverse screen and set it all on the wonk. Haven't tried to sort it as my camera lens is clouded up so pic poor anyway, need a new camera then will sort the settings and then probably find it's out 🤣 will just keep looking out the window 😉
