Hi all,

is there ANY way of getting the side mirrors on a 2009 Lexus rx400h to close automatically, for example when I lock the car or unlock or by any internal or other way of doing it?

Thanks

It's not possible as standard.  I think I've seen kits for sale on the web which will make it happen, but can't remember where.

Hi Alphacool,

I Previously owned a 2009 400H Executive Limited Edition model and my mirrors folded on locking without issue, unfortunately I can’t remember exactly how to configure them do that but based on instinct I think it’s a menu item within the car configuration which is user controlled OR is controlled by the position of the mirror controls on the drivers door.

I’m not sure what model you have or if the option was across all models but the option did/does exist…

Interesting..... I've never heard of this functionality on an rx400h.  As far as I know, the only way to make the mirrors fold is to press the button on the dash before turning the ignition off.
