Hope you can help? I have a 98 Lexus GS300.  The ABS/VSC dashboard lights are stuck on Amber.  Apparently, it's a complicated problem - could be a communication problem with the ABS module, a defect with the Steering Angle sensor or a problem with the ABS pump etc.

Do you know of an ABS specialist around the Berkshire/Surrey area who might have the diagnostic tools and expertise to resolve the problem?  I don't want to spend a fortune on fixing the vehicle.  However, it will not pass MOT until the ABS/VSC lights are off.

Thanks. Mark

If you still have these lights on, may be worth having a read through this topic regarding resetting and/or reading the codes.

Many Thanks TigerFish.  It turns out that it was the ABS Rings (£17.00 for two) that needed replacing.

The genius mechanic who identified and fixed this problem is jack of Sharp's Autos in Bracknell - tel: 01344 861 454

Admittedly, I don't know anything about cars but this bloke must be among the best mechanics in Britain for breathing life into older vehicles at reasonable rates.

Best Regards, Mark
