I have recently got my car back from a main dealer after having a air suspension strut replaced.

I have noticed that the ACC (adaptive cruise control) keeps dropping out for no apparent reason.

Have any other members had this problem.

Usually when ACC disengages you hear a double beep. This occurs if car you are going back disappears from radar. ACC goes off when braking too (without beeps) and is overrided pressing right pedal.

If you bump the front radar out of alignment it will do this.

check the mounting to see if it has moved.

High bumpers of other cars bashing it when they are parking is common cause.

mountings are designed to deform to avoid radar unit damage.

The only thing I notice is when the ACC disengages and the car slows, the radar ready sign appears on the dash.

However I cant resume, I have to reset the speed.

I'd be asking the main dealer... maybe something has been knocked out of where it should be?

Mine cuts out below 26 mph or when the wipers go on fast speed, both give a double beep and display radar ready.
