Custsom F Logo door courtesy projectors

Just thought i'd share a few pics and a video demo of some custom logo door projectors I made. I made a few to test out and sold out so seems to be a hit 🙂But it may not be to everyones taste 🙂

Looks good. We have the genuine Lexus projectors fitted to our GSF.

I like them a lot, I also liked the blue Lexus plates that lit up on the door shuts that my is-sel had AND the amber/red Speedo cluster, shame these simple things didn’t make it to the F 😢

I'm intrigued given I have similar puddle lights in my car which show up a Lexus logo. Correct me if I am wrong, but I presume you created your own logo (using Corel if I'm not mistaken) and then inserted that into your lights. If that is the case, then I presume there is a film one can remove from the light and then set in any alternative you might create. Is that the case?

I designed the logo in Illustrator as a vectorised logo, it then needs to be printed onto a glass lens. There are two types of lens it can be printed on, either glass or a film. The film is terrible quality and distorts and reduces light output. For high quality the logo needs to be on glass. So I have it printed on glass. The glass lens isn't necessarily a direct fit into the lens that you may have from another unit, specially if it's going into a film lens. So instead I get a complete new lens supplied to match the glass. But the LED light aspect of it all remains the same.

Thanks for the reply, Ahmed. I think I will remove my existing and see what I might be able to achieve, albeit I can already see the first hurdle, i.e. printing in glass!

They were fitted as standard to the 2020 models in the US. Mine came from an American dealer and was shipped by a relative.

Pretty sure its the same as the RCF. 

Elvin's ones are listed as compatible for both.

I have Elvins door lights in my RCF and to be fair to Ahmed yours look just as crisp!
