Hello,

I understand that 2015 RC F (in some countries) come without auto folding mirrors when lock or unlocking. But it does come with power fold. I was wondering if there was a way to change something on the onboard computer to make it auto fold on lock/unlock since it already has the motor anyway?

Thank you!

On the IS250 ( amongst other model) there was, a while ago, an aftermarket unit, made and sold by an Australian guy. It was called a PO40 module and fits inside the drivers door to achieve this fold on locking situation, I purchased one second hand from a member who never got round to fitting  it their car. It is a good visual indicator from a far that you have indeed locked the car!

You just need to ensure they are set to Auto on the door panel before you turn the ignition off, get out the car and lock it.

OP is not UK spec car (from what I gather) so different countries have slight changes to cars ability, it would appear the autofold is the case for this one 😞

IIRC US spec cars never had the mirror fold option, prob not a concern when parking unlike Europe/Uk 🙄
