The HKS sway bars r good !!! I feel that the car is 'tighter' and turning/cornering has improved significantly.

Surprised to see that the improvement in handling becos can the handling of the stock car is already marvellous :D:D:D

i am still using stock damper. Not sure whether I will encouter the 'sudden tail-out' effect if the HKS Max dampers r installed.

Any advice? :)

hi GRiM,

a few questions for u:

1. can u describe the ride quality of the max damper ? is it hard , bumpy and uncomfortable?

2. As this HKS damper is adjustable in terms of damping rate and height, what're your settings?

3. do u encounter any sudden 'tail out' when conernering hard?

For the HKS HiperMax LS, i know a GS300 owner ,who had the set installed recently, was satisfy with the comfort level of it.

*I need details/feedbacks on suspensions to ensure that my future upgrade conforms to Wife Appreciation Factor (WAF) :D:D

Good to hear that u hav a wonderful time with ur new upgrade :D

anyway, what's the suspension setting when your girl is in the car ? and is this setting neutral, oversteer or understeer? I prefer a neutral handling :)

I had the Hiper Dampers fitted a few months ago now at TDi and have had plenty of chance to expirement. I live in London so the roads are terrible, I keep the front on about 3/4 full stiffness and the rear slightly harder and have had no complaints about comfort.

The front and rear struts made a big difference to the cornering. The car is at TDI for a couple of weeks now so I'm missing it already! Having HKS roll bars fitted along with some other goodies.

If you are still after a babe magnet try setting the Hiper Dampers to full race settings front and rear - you can feel every bump but its quite a fun drive and puts a smile on the face of any passengers!

So far the only engine mod I've had is the exhaust. TDi have the car for a couple of weeks to fit the supercharger, change the pulley on the supercharger to increase the boost, develop the manifold, fit the HKS roll bars, fit the CUSCO lower arms (if they arrive in time) and hopefully build up a new air filter if they have time.

If the car is finished in time it will be at Santa Pod for the "Run What Ya Brung"

on 12th July.

Assuming I haven't broken it by 28th I'll be at the JAE!
