Seat Gap Storage Box

My mobile phone is too big to fit in the charging tray (S21 Ultra), and needs to be plugged in to benefit from AndroidAuto. The cupholders are not really practical as phone holders and are often in use, and having the phone on my lap is not ideal. I had to find an alternative solution.

I had been considering a seat gap storage box, but wanted something that would be large enough for the phone, but not too big that they would be a hindrance.

I found and bought this and I am pleased with it - although I have only used it for a couple of days - so thought I would share as it may be of interest to others. It is not the tightest fit, but at the same time does not slide about, and I like the fact that the colour matches that of my seats (it comes in different colours).

and the Ls400 owners reading this should remember the simple sliding but effective storage box under the passenger seat, for just this sort of thing ...  even before mobiles were invented maybe    starting some 32 years ago now

See my Car Seat Pocket Organizer  post RC Forum, February 18, 2018 for a not dissimilar item in stitched leather  matching the red/black upholstery.  I didn’t carry it over to my next RC because this has the connecting slit between the cupholders which accommodates my phone equally well.
