New to the fold- couple of queries

Morning, I’m currently just about to trade in my GLC63S to get something more sensible.

I went to the showroom yesterday on Woodford sales guy seemed pushy but with not much knowledge. 
 

I asked about the 10 year warranty if the car had to have full Lexus history previously and if the car had to be bought from Lexus and he couldn’t answer. Could someone help with that? Looking at approx 2017 model. 
 

Also on these 2017-2018 models can you get apple car play I did some research and found it confusing. 
 

budget is £24-£30k but lower is better as it takes less money out of my kit at fund.

Any Lexus less than 10 years old with or without a service history, then serviced by Lexus, will get a 1 year warranty. Is my understanding.

Oh, and welcome! You'll have no regrets joining the Lexus camp. You don't say which model you're looking at, but I'm expecting a 2017 model of any probably won't be Carplay or AA upgradeable. My 2019 NX is the earliest NX model that could be upgraded, for example. Other members may be able to comment on other models.

Thanks on the warranty, the guy at the dealer didn’t have a clue just kept saying I would need to buy without seeing a car due to demand. 
 

would be helpful if there are any ways to tell if the car can accept apple car play. 
 

I once bought a top of the range audio with all the options apart from Bluetooth for the phone! Literally every single one including upgraded steering wheel to have the phone buttons in it. Don’t want this to happen again
