Daytime running light

Hello,

I'm just about to buy a 68 plate RX450h and I've noticed on one of the photos of the car that the front nearside DRL isn't on, does anyone know if it's a feature of some sort or is it an issue I need to raise with the dealer?   Thanks!

Silly question but are you sure its definitely the drl?wouldn't have thought it would have gone on a lexus that is just 3 years old.See if they both work when you visit the dealer and take it from there 🙂👍

I see what you mean,although sometimes pics can be deceiving,if you going to see it,you can double check that it all works and if it doesn't then the dealer will have to fix it

LEDs pulse and depending on the frame rate for video and the shutter speed (sampling rate) for cameras it may have 'missed' the illumination on that side.

Thanks thats a fair point, there are two photos of the front and its not lit on either photos so hmmm I guess i'll have to wait and see - im buying the car remotely - at least from a Lexus dealership so im confident they'll sort it out if it is an issue.

From my experience of this style of headlight it could be the unit itself but as mentioned go and check the car and also ask the owner face to face to see what they say
