Hello all,

I am new on the group, and I recently bought a 2013 plate lexus is 300h.

It's having partially service history.

What should I check on it and most importantly how can I check the hybrid batteries!?

Hello Dragos and welcome to the LOC.

Lexus dealers normally provide the yearly hybrid Battery health check and a free basic car check covering most mechanical and safety related items.

If you have access to the correct diagnostic device this can be used to check the Battery condition also.

This yearly hybrid check  costs around £60.00 and provides a year’s warranty on the Battery however you say the car only has a partial service history which may affect the 10 year Battery warranty if the hybrid check alone has not been carried out yearly.

This is something that really should have been checked before purchase, was it a private or car dealer sale?
