New Interior Mods (LED upgrade, leather gear boot & more)

It's been a while since I posted about my mods. I've since done quite a few more mods and thought i would share some pictures of some of these recent mods. It's not everything but the ones that quickly come to mind.

I wil update my blog soon with all the mods and possibly have a list of mods on my blog. Right now, my instagram is the most up-to-date with my mods as that's the first place I get round to updating. This is not the end of the mods. I've got a few big ones coming up very soon hopefully by Christmas 

Please remember mods are all down to personal taste, so it may not appeal to all. Just thought i'd share 😃

The photos below are of the following mods:

• Blue hybrid power button
• Leather gear boot and shift knob from 3IS re-stitched in blue
• Hydrodipped black carbon centre console and window switches
• Hydrodipped blue carbon: gear knob trim, paddle shifters, steering switchpads and 2 side trims for centre console
• Flat bottom carbon steering wheel with blue stitching
• Wrapped interior grab handle gloss black
• Ambient EL wire blue light on front door cards
• LED upgrade from green to white, with a few blue ones
• Hydrodipped centre stack navigation unit in black carbon with custom white decals

Some nice mods there Ahmed, that centre console looks boss! That's what I'm working towards eventually. How long was the car out of action for?

@ahmed24 thought I wouldn't be keen on the blue carbon fibre but it actually looks great in combination with the blue elements! All looks really great! The one thing that bothers me is that you've left the small handle on the ashtray cover chrome 😄

Haha that chrome will be deleted at some point 🙂

That's a nice color combo. Good job!

Mate that looks Amazing! Never been a fan of the gated shifter and the White/blue glow looks much better

Below are some photos of the steering wheel. The steering wheel area is still not complete as i'm planning to re-trim the airbag in leather with blue stitching and the airbag/horn logo embossed. Will be posting about that once i've done it. I will be slitting the leather from the rear along the break points for the airbag deployment.

Ive been thinking about the hydro-dipping of the centre console and door switch panels for a while but never got round to it and probably never will lol need a new car as kids getting bit cramped in the back of the IS250.

Out of curiosity how did you get the lettering back onto the media panel??

But well-done it does look stunning 😀 👌

The graphics I designed and had printed as decals then applied them just before the clear coat layer sealing the graphics inside.

Stumbled upon this thread looking how to swap the 3is gear boot onto 2is console...waaay too much work for my liking 🤣🤣 going to stick to my carbon wrap and F Sport gear knob 😅

It is quite a bit of work but very worth it 🙂 It's probably one the most popular mods. I've helped 30+ people on instagram complete this mod. By far the most popular mod.

Standard OEM unit with Grom Vline VL2 interface with wireless Android Auto connected to my phone. Has Wireless apple CarPlay too.

The unit has to be completely dismantled and the SMD LEDs desoldered, cleaned and then resolder new LEDs. Not a straightforward job unfortunately.
