I'd say yes to both.

Normally (or at least all the one's I've seen) are vertically stuck to the left of the screen.

My car has had a replacement screen in a past life and I guess that it was put back wrongly by the fitter. Now I have a garage space back, I will have a look at relocating it.

Could somebody with an ISF put up a pic of the aerial in their car, as I have looked on line and cant see an example of how it should be fitted

TIA

Mine is in the same location. Now also crap, after a window replacement.

Looks easy enough to replace. Don't know how much they are though.

apologies for interjecting here  ...........  is this not a somewhat dated phenomenon....

I'm remembering some 33 years ago in my brand new 1988 Vauxhall Carlton 1.8 the radio aerial was actually a red line integrated / embedded into the front screen

seemed eminently sensible then ..  and now too if anyone does it

33 years ago DAB hadn't even been invented but yes, the same principle applies.

My 2018 RX has an integrated DAB aerial but some don't. I have no idea why.

I’m guess the DAB module on the 2IS were dealer or port fitted options. Our 2012 RX & GSF both have integrated aerials.
