RX300 Air Suspension Removal

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

So i think the time has come for me to get rid of the Air Suspension. I had a bag pop last year and replaced it but its starting to leak again. The RX is a 2003 mk2 model so its only a matter of time before everything starts failing.

I have 2 questions.

1) Does anyone have a list of parts that i need if i was to go out and buy all new parts?

2) If i was to go down the second hand route and just buy a complete set up does anyone know if the RX400h suspension is the same. I've been looking at part numbers and they do appear to match for both the rx300 and rx400h.

My thinking is to pick up a complete second hand set off a rx400h as the items should be a good few years younger so hopefully in better condition

Thanks all for you help

Hi Ross

I'm pretty sure this has been asked many times, you might try searching on the forum for previous answers.

My memory is vague but I seem to recall it being non-trivial, the parts for a 400h may not fit. You can look up part numbers and see their compatibility here: http://toylexparts.com

Thanks for the information. I've been searching for a while but can't find anything clear. I've been looking at complete sturts to import from the us. Seems you can get a complete set for around £550 delivered with vat. Does anyone know if the rx330 suspension is the same.

Look up the part numbers for a 330 of the same year and spec on toylexparts.com and then look up your own car and see if it’s the same part number, although that alone wouldn’t convince me it was viable as there may be other issues, like other parts of the car that might be different when you have air suspension.
