WATER PUMP REPLACEMENT

I'm looking to carryout a pre-emptive replacement of the water pump on my IS, I've identified the pump , my choice being the ASIN WPT-137 version, but not sure about the belt, any one know which one is required?

Had to do this last year to mine to - got the water pump from Autodoc - £80 delivered. And used a ContiTech belt https://www.carparts4less.co.uk/search/202779115

Don't forget to buy the coolant. full system capacity is 9.1L I believe but most people have said they got out around 6L.  Lexuspartsdirect is a good shout for OEM coolant -you need the pink one not the red

Hi there,

I will be replacing the water pump on my 2009 IS220d soon, does anyone know the torque settings for the water pump bolts?

Also is it worth changing the ancillary belt while I'm on?

Yes change the belt at the same time.
