Has anyone ever experienced colder air from passenger side than drivers side with the ac?

The condenser was just replaced.

Also noticed air is colder while driving as opposed to being idle.

That's normal. When stationary you only have the fans pulling air through the system, but when moving forward you're sort of scooping up the air in front of the car and that helps to further cool it down.

That could be a diverter flap stuck or the servo not working.

@Herbie please explain what this means

Well, it's fairly self-explanatory really. There's a motorised flap that directs the flow of air into the cabin and it sounds like it's possibly got stuck in a position that allows more air to be directed to the passenger side.

That's really about the limit of my knowledge in this area.

Is it expensive to fix?

You seem to have had nothing but a complete litany of problems with this car...

One really has to ask what was it about this car that encouraged you to travel 250 miles to buy?

Or was it just that having travelled that distance you couldn't come away without buying?

Looking at MOT history there's a jump from 2010 to 2020 and only about 4,000 miles covered during that time but no MOTs? How does that work?

I know there's an old saying "God loves a tryer" but given all the fauts and help he's been asking about in here, trying to sell it in here is probably a non-starter :wallbash:

And an Outstanding Recall (?).

I would still be asking the dealer to sort the issues, despite the inconvenient distance.

Then it could be a lovely car!

I love the car and want to keep but we feel like can't afford the fuel costs.

In regards to that jump, it was garaged for those years.

Not fishy at all, may well end up keeping but fuel is costly due to it being a 3L V6

You’ve advertised it as immaculate but have posts requiring help on numerous issues …so not immaculate

@mr2lad

The interior leather condition is immaculate and everything was fixed that wasn't working.

alloys were redone over and are absolutely stunning. SEE THE CAR AND THEN COMMENT.

Only thing which doesn't work is the headlight washers which are non essential.

AC is cold just left vents colder than right. It has a brand new condenser in it.

So why not post pictures of the interior?

@NemesisUK

I can't afford main dealer prices usually.

They are astronomically high.

@NemesisUK

If someone seriously wants to buy the car, then i can email or whatsapp photos of everything but the main ones are on the advert.

One usually shows pictures of the interior as standard. You don't even mention what colour it is!

What's that?

Without being nasty, and I promise you I really don't mean to cause any offence, but let me put it this way - you don't need to know what it is because if you have to ask, then it's obvious you have neither the knowledge, the skills, nor the tools to do the job yourself, so either take it back to the dealer and get them to put it right or take it to an aircon specialist and get them to do the work.

Aircon system must be refilled with right amount of oil and R134 refrigerant

Usually in garages they put only what is written on yellow sticker under the bonnet, but if its already low it needs to be refilled to the manufacturer requirements (check manual).
