When putting in reverse, (if the mirror switch is set to left or right) the mirrors tilt down. I seem to remember that the angle of automatic tilt was selectable and memorised but cannot find any reference in the handbook? Was I dreaming?

That's how it works on my RC. Put into reverse and then adjust the mirrors as required. The setting is stored automatically but remember it is relative to the setting when in D, so if you change that you will have to readjust the reverse setting

Would like just a bit more tilt. Can get that manually but it does not seem to remember. Cannot get tilted memory to work on my car. Do you do that and then press memory seat button or does yours just remember?

In my car it just remembers. As said it's relative to the normal setting and that is linked to the seat position memory but I don't have to press the memory button to set the reverse tilt position.

It may be the function isn't available on your model/year
