hi everyone..when im driving,once speed reaches 40 and above,the rev counter starts to climb and it sounds like gear not going into 5/6..iv tryed it in shift gears and have same problem..any suggestions please..

Get the codes read using Techstream, everything else is just guessing..

Yes, you need to check for any error codes first. The fact that it is going into 4th rules out the temperature sensor and control (which limits 4th  gear or higher when cold) so it is likely to be a shift solenoid and if one has open or short resistance you will get an error code. If no codes then it could be a sticking solenoid or poor quality ATF or low fluid level.

thanks..had it checked/lot of error codes..he did a reset but i had hole in the exhaust too..sorted that out..seems to be running better than before,,
