RX450 Infotainment System Software Update

Hi all,
I'm new to the forum, but not to owning a Lexus (CT200) and now a 2010 RX450.
Does anyone know if it's possible (and if so, how) to update the software in the 450 to the new look of the 2015 (pre-facelift) model?

As far as I know, it's not possible but I'm sure someone else will confirm either way.

It's not useful for anyone in the UK, or Europe, as Lexus in the US use different infotainment systems that aren't compatible.

It's not possible unfortunately. In 2012 a new navigation ECU was used so it isn't just a case of upgrading the software.

Soo, with that in mind, will the newer Navigation ECU work in the 2010 model? I can understand it may need some tweaking.

Anything is possible, but I don't know if you need other components such as headunit or wiring alterations. Unless you can find a used navigation ECU and HDD it also wouldn't be financially viable.

Not necessarily, I made it on my RX and it worked.
