Sold my Convertible...

My local specialist car dealer, Castle Motors, have sold my Convertible, to a guy that is trading in a Red LC 500 Coupe…

The guy is changing them over on Monday. He lives in Suffolk. 

I bought a VW Caddy, and Brotherwood in Dorset, converted it for me to a WAV… It was delivered in June last year, to my son’s property…

I have kept it at my son’s, hoping that I wouldn’t need it for a long time… My wife’s been able, with help, to get in the passenger seat of vehicles, and a wheelchair put in the boot, to be taken out…

Last few weeks, after having had MS for probably 40 years. I have used the Caddy. 

My wife comes first, and my car habit comes second…

Sorry to hear this Kevin. When my wife was stricken down by MS, we had a Brotherwood converted VW Sharan to take her wheelchair in the back. Their quality was miles better than some of the other converters. They are a very good company and took the VW back from us when she passed away. They even came to collect it. 

It fascinated me that they are located at a place called Rhyme Intrinseca near Yeovil. I had never come across a placename like it.

Yes Malcolm, dealing with Brotherwood has been very good, and the conversion to the VW Caddy is very good. 

I have done some googling to find a small electric car to use when I need to.

I have bought a Fiat 500 Electric Convertible LA PRIMA.

Having bought my last eight cars from Edinburgh, and the Bentayga came from Belfast…!

The best deal I could get was from Vospers in Truro…!

I haven’t bought a car from a local dealer for several years… 

It’s being delivered on Monday… It will be my first Fiat…!

Congrats on your new car i owned a diesel Panda from new for 8 years it was surprisingly good to drive and was totally reliable only needing servicing and tyres.

I see that you have removed the convertible from your site. Hopefully the guy’s Coupe is in as good as a condition…?

I admire your principles, Kevin, and commiserate you on what must be quite a loss for you. I'm lucky enough not to have any serious illness but do worry that one day, an LC500 will not be appropriate.  I hope you get some fun out of the Fiat - quite a stylish little thing. 🙂

The 2017 LC 500 Coupe that Castle Motors took in, sold within a few days… 

I can’t remember the price, but it sold for a very good price…

The Fiat Iphone app is very good…

I am hoping an Elap Turny Low Vehicle seat can be fitted in the passenger side.

I hope it can, because my wife will be able to come out in it with me…
