I’ve found this on eBay and very tempted to get it. My worry is the quality of stainless steel. As all Lexus exhausts are claimed to be stainless steel it may. It be shinny shiny and chrome finish but it doesn’t have to be to reach  the criteria. I’ve done a lot of research. As I own a Lexus IS 250c the exhausts it different  to the is 250/ due to the back end being at least 50mm longer. I’ve found this one on eBay and not sure  if to make the plunge and go for it. ??? Any help ??

That one has double tips at rear and as advert states ...may have to rework rear bumper to accommodate . Personally I would get a custom made stainless steel exhaust made . Have done mine .is 250 std ...and happy with it , probably cheaper too .

If you do manage to talk with them I wrote to them some weeks ago when the business of cat thefts surfaced as a big deal. I suggested with their expertise in SSteel it would make a great product - a CatLoc. But regret to say didn't get any response 😒

It wouldn’t be the final story as John mentioned in his OP.

I have not found a drawing….. but if the box position and the Y position fit…..you’re just looking at gaining 50mm in length which might be easier to get fab’d than gambling aftermarket.

You get OEM quality and the sound should be similar. ( probably for not much more than aftermarket)

I went mild steel ( not  a C ) in first lockdown to keep me on the road….. much cheaper but the fit was (is) awful.

  • 3 weeks later...

Best to phone a dealer and ask or look on lexus parts direct under gen 3 IS.

That eBay zorst is a tad rip off price wise. Elsewhere on eBay is a standard fit zorst I don't think stainless but an alloy mix steel for a 1/3rd of that other zorst.
