RX400h OEM Alloys

Hi all,

Newbie from Cheshire here. Had my '06 RX400h since January and loving it so far. Two owner car with 81k on the clock. Really good condition inside and out. Paid 6k for it from a dealer that bought it straight from Lexus Sheffield. Just sold my 2018 M2 so the RX is my only car at the mo. Chalk and cheese difference but I must admit I'm loving the comfort and surprised how quick it is. No M2 obviously, but a proper sleeper that keeps catches many sportier motors napping..lol!

Only thing I don' love is the corroded original 18" alloys. looking to either find another OEM set of 18"s or maybe upgrade to a set of 19's or 20's. OEM Lexus alloys if possible.

Is there anything I need to know about changing the wheel size? Is it bad for the hybrid system or anything?

Also does anyone have a decent set for sale? Open to offers.

I've got a spare alloy/no tyre you can have, but like yours its in need of a re-furb, and I'm in Warrington

I bought a pair of good condition alloys and swapped them out for the worst 2 alloys.

I sold one alloy and still have this one kicking round the garage.

There's plenty of places that will respray the alloys for a few hundred quid - have you considered that?

I am in the process of spraying my LS 400 alloys myself. A member with a GS did it himself and it looked really good. Obviously it will not be back to factory level but for the cost of a few cans of paint I thought I would give it a go.
