I've misplaced my owners manual following a house move and can't find a definitive answer anywhere. I'm having my power steering pump replaced, can anyone recommend a good p/s fluid please and what quantity I would need for a flush and refill|? Has anyone heard of Mannol oil and is it well regarded? I have read so far that Dexron 111 is suitable and that the Ls uses ATF fluid rather than power steering  . Apologies for all the questions recently, I have several issues on the go with my LS. I think taking it off the road for the duration of the Covid crisis was a bad decision, they don't like being stood.

or underused ......  mine had so many unfathomable electrical and water issues which thankfully have simply now " disappeared "

Indy told me there are so so many seals etc that could seep and leak when not brought up to normal working conditions ...... and just re-seal themselves with use

I bought this when I did the idle up valve job, been fine since, no more white start up smoke or fluid loss.

I also manually prime the system by spinning the pulley by hand in the normal rotation direction for around 30 turns to get things pre lubricated and stop the initial whine. Belt back on, front tyres either on a couple of glossy magazines or off the ground to assist the lock to lock bleeding process.

1 litre will be plenty to do the job.

Dextron III. Good price delivered to your door.

I used Dextron 111, that's what the 430 manual says.
