Hanging wire

Hi guys. First post here! Thought maybe to try and post this here as can't figure it out myself.

Literally found this wire hanging not attached to anything. Anyone can shed some light on what it could be and where should be attached?

Original Battery casing not present, it plugs into it.

It is the Battery temperature sensor for the Battery charging system and is normally clipped to the side of the black plastic Battery enclosure.If you no longer have the Battery case then try and place the sensor ( somehow?)  as close to the Battery as possible and not allow it to be near anything hot/warm as it may give the Battery charging system false readings and over/under charge the Battery.
