Roof Bars

A quick heads up for anyone looking to buy some roof bars. From next Thursday the 6th May Lidl will have a set of roof bars available for £29.99. These are not some Chinese junk but are made by Menabo, a well respected Italian manufacturer established 50 years ago. I purchased a set when Lidl last had them on offer and am very pleased with them. Lidl will also have a pair of quick release ratchet straps on offer for £2.99.

Thanks for the heads up, I bought a set today. They fit my RX fine.

The downside is the missus is planning more tip runs with large items now. ☹️

I just visited my local Lidl (Villefranche, France) and the bars were there for 39.99€.  They fit really well.

For anyone wanting the roof bars but missed out, it looks like Aldi are doing a motoring special buy with roof bars and roof boxes this Thursday (20th May).

They're branded XS (Aldi's own motoring brand) but look the same as the Lidl ones. They have 120cm and 135cm roof bars available.
