drivers side wiper hits frame of windscreen or am I imagining it?

Just got my RX 450 2016 plate and I love it.

 

Just a query. I used the windscreen wipers for the first time and I initially thought the drivers side wiper was actually slapping  /  hitting the window frame on the upstroke, but on further looking I think all thats happening is that its reaching the top of its travel and making a slapping sound

 

Any other RX 450 2016  owners had similar experience? I had a RX400h 2007 before.

I've never known a wiper to travel too far; usually they begin to stop a bit short so I think it's this you're hearing.

My RX450H 2021 (bought in July) has the same issue of front wipers (driver side) making a loud slapping sound at the end of its upstroke. The dealership changed the wipers in August, but the issue remains, which is very annoying.
