Hi guys, not posted on here for a long time, i am thinking of selling my car soon as am starting building works on the house but not sure what to put it on for as only 1 on autotrader right now and its much newer.

Specs are:

2008, Grey 105k miles, 2 previous owners. Full lexus service history, h&s exhaust, had replacement nav system put in from Lexus, and few months ago changed the water pump and fitted a new radiator.

Also have a brand new set of brembo pads and discs i can throw in.

Am thinking around the £15-16k mark??

I don't think you are far off, had been watching the ISF's on and off but they've been swept up in recent months. The fact you have all the new bits recently fitted and have the parts for all 4 corners makes it a good buy. There are a few other members that were keeping more of a keen eye on the market so hopefully they'll post in due course.

Just gonna see if I've got the money under the mattress or scramble it together from the centre console change, always liked them in grey!

I also have a grey 2008, albeit mine has 15k less miles and 50/50 between Lexus and specialist SH and I've thought about what id want for mine and it would definitely be in that region of £15-16k. I've seen cheaper 08/09 cars but they often dont seem as well pampered, questionable maintenance history, cheap tyres etc. and no mention of the water pump/ radiator/ brakes. I think if care has been taken to pamper the car then its fair to ask a higher price!

Good ones that come up for sale dont seem to last long, it's telling for the ones that take awhile to sell, either too expensive or questionable history etc.

For what its worth, it might be prudent to fit the disks and pads, its really easy, it took me about 1.5 hours all in and that was swapping cars in/ out of the garage too or a garage would only charge an hour or 2 labour.

Agreed, just dont read my post regarding a day of misfortune....😆

But tbh even with the refitting of the dust shield it was mega simple 🙂

It may be worth asking a few performance garages, some may do a sale and commission, some a cash purchase, I know a couple of people that sold directly to garages and got what they wanted, my 08 has 69k and a friend offered me £18k......I just laughed at him, we buy any car are crap from my experience, the car will sell to someone who knows and appreciates these cars, there’s not many about BUT indications are theres more than there was
