An Admin Venting!

As treasurer I have been doing the usual paperwork for the club and have counted 23 subscriptions that have not been sent from public members signing up for gold.

As it is stated on the sign up form that you are requested to send your subscriptions or otherwise do not complete the form.

For those who have completed the form and have not submitted their subscription shall receive and email from me. If I do not receive confirmation then I shall chuck your subscription in the bin.

Sorry if this sounds harsh but it's only fair that no one wastes more of my time.

ADMIN' i went to the bank and paid my £25 in to the club account this morning. any problems e-mail me not u2u because it wont let me read them

What Steve is not saying here is that because he's so trusting, when he gets a Gold application he goes to the trouble (and cost) of creating a gold membership pack for the person who's requested it, which takes him time, and costs the club money!

So there's 23 of you out there that are being pretty mean to your Club!!!

You could always name and shame those who have yet to pay.

Support the club guys, after all it's here solely for your benefit.

You get access to GOLD forums, you get links and contact numbers to both UK and worldwide suppliers, you'll be helping to contribute to the future of the club, and hey, lets not forget those GOLD discounts.

I have considered these options and beleive me I have looked across the net for good card services.

Paypal are too complicated for alot of people. And Nochex is just the same.

We try and keep subscriptions to a minimum and if we are handing it over to the greedy card and proccessing companies then the subscriptions will raise due to the costs these companies take. As a club and we are an organisation the bank does not charge us any fee's for cheques or Bank transfers so we can keep a tight subscription cost.

sorry Steve - I am one of them - as I explained in my U2U - signed up, credit card in hand - only to be told I had to do payment transfer.

been mad busy - will sort out this week - promise!
