Trying to reconnect Battery on my GS300,2005. The alarm sounds as soon as I connect both terminals and will not switch off. Replaced FOB Battery but still no difference. Tried the tricks with switching door lock back and for no difference. Any ideas would be welcome.

you can try turning on the ignition with the alarm going, that stops it if you have to manually unlock the vehicle with a mechanical key when the alarm is set.

You may need to resync your Fob with the car.
I can't remember exactly how but it should be in the manual.
