Lexus LS 430 standard factory alloy wheel colour and finish

Recommended Posts

I need to refurbish the alloys on my LS 430. They were done previously in a rather bright and shiny silver that is definitely not factory standard. It also means there isn’t an original wheel to match to.

Can anyone help?

Should we ever had wheels fixed, painted or something like that I would choose same colour as car. All these different silvers or whatever does look OK with the black of the tyres, but same colour as car body is what I find nice if the wheels get scratched.

The silvered paint finish( Wheels) on the LS range does not have a code from Toyota or Lexus and the best option is to try to match it with a body silver from any other car manufacturer and have the wheels sprayed with that .I had mine done with an Audi silver, code LY7T crystal silver year 1988-95 which came up just about the same colour as in the LS brochure shots of the car.

Good question OP.  My wheels were already refurbed when i brought the car, - I do have an original wheel in the boot and you can see the difference.. the original is somewhat 'smoked', - I'd like to get them back to original spec, - my plan is to just ask them to match the spare...
