Noise from break pedal

Hi all!

I've had my ct for a month now and I've noticed when I break a bit harder than normal I get a strange noise from the break pedal area,  it's hard to describe the noise kind of a creak or groan maybe .

The breaks work perfectly and I've no warning lights or messages. 

is this normal ?

Does the pedal feel like it is pulsing up and down under your foot when it makes the noise?

No the pedal feels totally normal it's not an ABS noise it's like a groaning or maybe even a squeak it's hard to describe,  

it only happens if I break hard not hard enough to kick in the ABS but harder then normal if that makes sense ?

Mine does this too..when breaking hard it groans, I've put it down to one of the charictistics of the car as you may have noticed the CT makes noises anyway which also is part of the braking system i believe. I have a 2013 Advance and i had all the brakes and discs replaced by my local garage over the last 3 years i have owned it, but its always made this noise when as you said break hard, but not hard enough to activate the Abs. Mine is a high miler at 175K now. Hope your enjoying your car after the 1st month!

Satisfied with the CT?

We are happy with the one we have. I do not hear any noise from the brake system when driving. Might be deaf, but they did not notice when renewing my driver's license.

Is this a special way to speak when using break instead of brake? English is my third language, but I am pretty sure I learned stopping a car was the same as applying the brake. I am also sure that break was when something was breaking, being damaged or destroyed. Is it modern English?

Just curious as I see it many places.

The CT makes alot of strange noises when braking in any conditions.Mine does too and has always done it since new(2011) up until now at 110K.The loan CT i was given when mine was being serviced at Lexus even made these noises and that was brand new with 22 miles on it.
