Toad Car Alarm Help

Recommended Posts

Duncans really your man here.

Have you done the basic check.. the remote control Battery?

Also have you tryed the spare remotes, bear in mind all batteries have a shelve life... so likely the spare if never used since new could be dead too...

Does it allow you to bypass the system to let you get the car started? Is there any visual aid to let you know the alarm has some kind of power going to it?

Is the alarm doing anything at all ?

As Steve said, have you checked the other remotes.... Does the car still start.

You should have been given a pin number with the instruction booklet, which allows you into the alarm to check its state.

Other than that, check fuses on the car. It maybe thaat someone has fitted it wrongly and taken the power supply of an already fused supply. (there is a seperate fuse in one of the black wires to the alarm. you could check this )

Let us know how you get on...

my dad disconnected the siren, when he was washing engine bay of his van.

he has connected back and the alarm does not arm, when he starts his van the alarm flashs indicaters 3 times. And locks the doors, but that is about it.

nothing else, disconnected the main Battery nothing alarm does not go off(make a noise).

very confused :crybaby:

Thanks.
