Hi wondering if anyone had the same problem with 2007 is 220 d my car won't start, it's key less the buttons will lock an unlock new Battery fitted in it and car but it still not start nor will dash should up

Does the start/stop button illuminate at all? Put the key fob right next to the start/stop button and try like that.

Would it not end badly if the Battery terminals were hooked up wrong way round??

But need more info on any lights showing on dash.

3 possible issues:
1) Immobiliser issues (but i would check the Battery on the key fob, i end up replacing it yearly)
2) Alternator not charging battery
3) Starter motor dead

You are likely to blow the main fuses (100+ Amp ones) which will stop everything working.

Think the fuse should be ok as the op can get into the car unless the signal from it works on a different circuit?
